Have you heard of Box of Style? It’s a quarterly subscription box curated by no other than the queen of style – Rachel Zoe. She has styled numerous high-profile celebrities such as Keira Knightley, Jennifer Lawrence, and Anne Hathaway.
I can’t afford to pay thousands of dollars for a stylist. And I’m quite comfortable wearing my scrubs at work. But, I do like to treat myself once in a while with luxe beauty, and fashion finds that makes me feel fabulous.
Box of Style members pay less than $100 a box for almost $500 worth of items. Rachel Zoe and her team collaborate with top brands and test run every product before an item is included in the box. I was intrigued about this subscription box, so I decided to order and see for myself if it’s really worth it.
Box of Style | Spring 2020
1. Shiraleah Arden Tote ($74)
The bag was crafted from vegan leather and suede. I like the two-toned neutral shade that goes with almost everything in my closet.
It is also roomy enough to carry my wallet, make-up, keys, cell phone, and camera. Chic and practical, this bag is a nice addition to my spring and summer wardrobe.
2. DIFF Bella Sunglasses ($85)
I totally love my new sunglasses! The oversized black frames work well with my face. They fit perfectly and stays on my head if I need them out of my way for a few minutes.
It also feels good to know that for every pair of glasses sold, DIFF provides the gift of sight to someone in need (eye exams, eyeglasses, surgeries, medicines, etc.). I’m glad that Rachel Zoe teams up with brands that give back to help various communities around the world.
3. BaYou With Love Chain Bracelet ($195)
BaYou with Love was founded by actress and environmentalist Nikki Reed. The brand focuses on sustainable production and ethical fashion. This oval chain bracelet is made of recycled brass and plated with refined 14k yellow gold.
I don’t usually wear bracelets, but I’m so happy that this was included in the box. It’s a stylish and versatile statement piece that goes well with either casual or formal outfits.
4. Erno Laszlo Hydraphel Skin Supplement ($68)
As I get older, my face feels a lot more drier. I actually stopped using an alcohol-based toner a few months ago because it left my skin itchy and inflamed. I was looking for an alcohol-free toner, and this Hydraphel Skin Supplement is just what I needed to try.
I’ve only been using this product for a few days, but I already love how it calms and hydrates my skin.
5. R+Co Waterfall ($29)
I don’t like putting a lot of products on my hair. I’m so glad that this all-in-one lotion can be applied on both wet or dry hair to protect, tame flyaways, and moisturize the ends. The lightweight, non-greasy formula kept my frizz away and made my hair more manageable.
Overall, I really enjoyed everything I got from Box of Style this spring.
Is it worth it?
Absolutely! I got all these awesome products for only $75.59. How? I placed my first order when they were running a promo last month, and I got a huge discount.
I’m so pleased with the first box that I actually decided to upgrade from a quarterly subscription to an annual membership. That means more savings and perks. I can’t wait to get my hands on the next box this summer.
