Don’t be into trends. Don’t make fashion own you, but you decide what you are, what you want to express by the way you dress and the way you live. – Gianni Versace
Photoshoot Back Story
A month ago, my hubby and I talked about going to different places around the city to shoot photos. The weather was still chilly, so we decided to wait for warmer and sunnier days. It’s around 40 degrees now in New York, and it looks like we are finally moving towards nicer spring weather. Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 outbreak, I think it is best for us to just stay home.
Though we still work in the hospital during the week, we don’t leave the house on weekends unless we need to buy food or medicine. I keep myself busy by cooking and reading. My hubby has been fiddling with his camera settings and watching YouTube videos to brush up his photography skills. Last Sunday, we decided to use the white wall in our apartment as a backdrop. We may not be in the perfect location, but the photoshoot got our creative juices flowing, and we had so much fun!
Here are a few of my favorite go-to outfits for spring.

One of the reasons why I’m so excited for spring is the different outfits that I can put together. I usually wear scrubs to work from Monday to Friday. So, I really look forward to the weekend to wear my fave wardrobe pieces.
These looks would have been perfect for brunch, picnic at the park, and day trips to a nearby town or city. For now, I guess I’m going to wear some of these pieces and look chic on my next trip to the grocery store…
What are some of your favorite spring outfits? Tell me in the comments below. I’d love to hear from you.
