Day 3: Three Quotes that will Change your Life

It’s Day 3 of the three days, three quotes challenge. Thank you so much My Li’l Place for this nomination. Sharing my insights and story with others was fun.

This challenge inspired me to write – Three Quotes that will Change your Life.

Here’s the 3rd quote…

Change is hard at first, messy in the middle and gorgeous at the end. – Robin Sharma

Imagine your first day on the job. You’re trying to understand the different policies and procedures of the company. You’re getting introduced to different people – of course, you can’t remember all of their names. You come to work every day struggling to learn everything about your job. You’re afraid to make mistakes; you don’t want your boss to think you’re incompetent. Then, BOOM – new procedures and more changes. How can you cope with all these?

Change is hard at first. Resisting the change will not help you at all. You have to learn how to adapt and develop your skills. Learn from your mistakes and move on.

Will it be gorgeous at the end? Let’s be realistic. You might turn out to be really good at what you’re doing, you’ll climb the corporate ladder or become “The Specialist” of your field. That would be gorgeous! Right?

Or maybe you’ll end up hating your job, and decide to switch careers. You have learned something from this experience. That to me is still a beautiful ending!

And yes, you will be more prepared for new beginnings.

Thank you so much for reading. I hope you’re more inspired to embrace the changes in your life. Do you have any other inspiring quotes to share? Let me know in the comments below. I’d love to hear from you.

  1. Very truthful quote! Change is so hard for me, in any situation really. Something as simple in change in my daily routine can have negative effects on me the whole day. I’m such a schedule type of person. But the end goal is so worth it, even when it’s hard! Thank you for sharing

    1. I still struggle with change too. And yes, it’s difficult when there’s a change in the routine or plan. However, change made me more flexible and I also learned some new coping skills – so I guess it’s worth it!😊 Thanks for sharing your thoughts and for following. Looking forward to reading more of your post.

  2. This quote rings so true for all of us. In my case I know that it hasn’t always been gorgeous always but it has always been insightful and satisfying in some ways, at least. Thank you for this great reminder. I hope you had fun with these posts. It has been great getting to know you better through these nominations. I hope it wasn’t too burdensome.
