The lockdown has taught me to take better care of myself. In my previous post, I mentioned that I’ve been eating healthy, taking my vitamins, and getting enough rest to strengthen my immune system.

I also learned to find ways to treat myself without leaving the comfort of my own home. My Therabox arrived last month, and it includes self-care goodies and a deck of pamper cards to jumpstart my commitment to self-care and wellness.
I picked a few ideas from these cards, and I’d like to share with you what I did. Here are 7 Simple Ways to Pamper Yourself.
1. Engage in a Wellness Activity.
Meditation, yoga, and dancing are some of the suggestions from the card.
I’ve heard a lot about Yoga with Adriene on YouTube, so I decided to check it out and try doing the Yoga Kiss. I haven’t been practicing yoga for some time now, so it was a bit challenging to perform some of the poses. But, I did finish the 40-minute workout and felt more invigorated.
2. Glow up your skin.
I had fun trying the different skincare products in my box (charcoal peeling gel, dark spot corrector, sheet mask).
My fave so far is the floral therapy sheet mask that smelled so good and left my skin so hydrated.
3. Revisit that album you haven’t listened to in a while.
What’s on your playlist? I love listening to Bruno Mars, Camila Cabello, Ariana Grande, and Maroon 5. Most of their songs put me in the right mood to get on my feet and dance.

4. Paint your nails.
I used to have my nails done twice a month. When my fave nail salon temporarily closed, I started painting my own nails. It wasn’t therapeutic at first because my polish looks so messy. It took a bit of practice before I got to the point where the whole process became calming and enjoyable. Here are some tips to help you perfect that mani at home.
5. Enhance your movie-watching experience.
Grab your favorite snack and drink, turn off your cellphone and laptop, and watch that movie you’ve been dying to see.
6. Out with the old, in with the new!
Pick an item in your house that needs to be replaced. How about changing your bedsheets and pillowcases?
7. Wear your favorite lingerie – for yourself!
Your fave PJ’s will do too.
I bought three cute PJ sets a few months ago. I was planning to bring my new sleepwear on my next vacation. But, we canceled our trip, and I don’t think we will be able to travel anytime soon. So, here I am wearing the pink one for #PamperYoSelf day. And yes… I felt so happy to finally wear it.
