5-Minute Everyday Summer Makeup

It’s almost Summer!

I’m looking forward to longer days, BBQ time, and summer getaways, There are so many fun things to do. Our makeup holding up in the summer heat is one thing we shouldn’t worry about. Here’s a quick and easy 5-Minute Everday Summer Makeup for those warm summer days.

Thank you for your continuous support.

The Bare Minerals BarePro Performance Wear Foundation is my go-to foundation for an everyday “no makeup” makeup look. It blends well with my skin and I love the natural matte finish. I recently found out that this was reformulated and is now called BarePro 16-HR Skin-Perfecting Powder Foundation. I’m excited to try the new BarePro because it is formulated to be sweat, humidity, and transfer-resistant.

I’ve tried a lot of eyebrow gels, but I always go back to Benefit Cosmetics 24-HR Brow Setter Clear Brow Gel. I love the dual-sided wand that easily shapes my brows. The gel also keeps my brows in place for hours without leaving any unsightly flakes.

I’ve recently tried Too Faced Better Than Sex Waterproof Mascara and I totally love it! It does a great job of lengthening and thickening my lashes. It also keeps my lashes lifted for hours without smudging.

Yes… that’s right. I did not misspell BLONZER. I’m talking about bareMinerals Gen Nude Blonzer. It’s a hybrid blush and bronzer in one. I got the shade Kiss of Pink which is a nice warm pink shade. To create a sunkissed look, I lightly sweep the brush on my cheeks, nose, and temples.

I saw a makeup video of Hailey Bieber and I got inspired to try the lip combo that she used –Β  bareMinerals Mineralist Hydra-Smoothing Lipstick in Grace (nude pink) and bareMinerals Mineralist Lip Gloss-Balm in Ingenuity (dusty pink). The lipstick has a nice satin finish and the lip gloss-balm is so hydrating.

Keep It Simple. Keep It Minimal. Keep it Fuss-Free.

Summer is not the time to wear heavy makeup. I am prone to breakouts, so I try to take good care of my skin first by having a good skincare routine (not skipping my sunscreen). Then, I pick only a few makeup products to use. My must-haves are lightweight foundation (preferably non-greasy and non-comedogenic), brow gel, waterproof mascara, blush or bronzer, and hydrating lip products.

How about you? What are some of your makeup must-haves this summer? Please share in the comments! I’d love to hear from you.

Thank you so much for reading and have a GREAT SUMMER ahead 😊

  1. This is so useful! I don’t want to spend a long time putting on make-up in general and even less so in the summer as it’s way too hot to wear much (I just sweat it off and/or need to reapply sunscreen throughout the day so have to find a work through). Your tips and advice were super helpful!

  2. Thank you for this post! I was wondering what type of makeup to do in the summer, and this was just in time. I usually do something light, like mascara, eyeliner and lipgloss. But I will be trying the bare minerals makeup, and adding sunscreen to my routine.

  4. I’m also new to the concept of blonzer (and blush in general – my rosacea has always made this type of makeup difficult to use) – but maybe it’s just what I need in my travel makeup bag!
