Do you feel frustrated with the way things are turning out in your life? Are you having a hard time getting through your day? Do you feel discouraged to start new goals? Here are three inspiring quotes to keep you going.
I saw this posted on the bulletin board as I was coming out of the physician’s clinic. I just heard devastating news from our doctor, and I was discouraged to try the different treatment options. What if it wouldn’t work? What if the treatment fails?
I realized that sometimes, we couldn’t run from the tragic realities of life. We can either choose to do nothing or find ways to resolve it. Doing nothing will not change our situation. So, I’d rather try the different options and have faith in the future. No matter what happens, I’ll give it my best shot.
This quote is my career mantra. I work as a nurse in the Operating Room, and it’s my responsibility to ensure that the room is ready for the procedures, coordinate with various members of the healthcare team and provide excellent care to patients. I love taking care of my patients, and I do like my job, but there are days when I want to throw in the towel. Nursing can be a very stressful career.
I can’t just quit my job and expect to fall straight into something I will love every day. I think every job no matter how much you like it has its challenges. Sometimes, you have to go through tough times and learn how to make the most of the situation while working towards your goals.
These words struck a chord deep within me.
Years ago, I worked as a training officer for an airline company in the Philippines. I was also taking my Masters in Industrial Psychology. My five-year plan includes graduating and moving up the corporate ladder. Then life happens – my dad got sick and was going through financial difficulties. I decided to take the risk and seek better opportunities abroad.
Fast forward, I became a registered nurse in the US. There was a time I asked myself if I made the right decision of giving up my old dreams. All I needed to see was the smile of my 79-year-old father, and I knew it’s worth it. Do I still want to go back to the corporate world? After ten years of being a nurse – I guess not!
My life tremendously changed since I decided to move to a different country. I reassessed my life and realized that my priorities have changed. My old dreams don’t work with my new life anymore.
I am chasing new dreams now, and I am determined to keep moving forward!
I hope I was able to brighten your day with my story and these inspiring quotes. Do you have a quote that motivates you to keep going? Feel free to share in the comments below. I’d love to hear from you.
Thank you so much for reading and have a great day!

I like all the three quotes, particularly the last one. I don’t think we are ever too old to try something new and to live a meaningful life. It must not have been an easy decision to make a change, travel to a different country and seek new opportunities. You have much to be proud of.
I was homesick for years. Then, I eventually adjusted to the new life. Creating new dreams to follow helped me move forward. Yes, it’s never too late to dream and start over again. Thanks for reading and sharing your thoughts😊

I got that from the book Miracle Mornings by Hal Elrod. The words made me more grateful for what I have now and inspired me to keep working towards my goals. I’m glad this quote inspired you too. 😊
Thank you for this. My husband and I have decided we aren’t waiting any longer…as we aren’t getting any younger…and we are pursuing our dreams while working our way out of our present livelihoods. Time’s a-wastin’ by putting it off. Great encouragement here.
I was reading your blog and we kinda have the same goal. I’m also hoping to retire early and just travel and blog someday. We have to take the first step now, coz you’re right – we aren’t getting any younger. Good luck with your new adventure!
I love all three, but especially the last two. We are Dream Pursuers; never stop dreaming, never stop pursuing!
YES, I couldn’t agree more!
