Celebrate endings – for they precede new beginnings. – Jonathan Huie
A few more days… and it’s going to be the start of the New Year! I don’t know about you, but I’m so ready to say goodbye to 2020. For most of us, it wasn’t really a great year. But, despite the pandemic, I am still grateful to survive and thrive through all these challenges.
Life
- Self-Care: I’ve learned ways to pamper myself without leaving the comforts of my own home. I also tried a new skincare routine and shared with you the 5 steps that helped me get rid of those pesky blemishes.

- Style: We haven’t been traveling much, so my hubby and I started doing fashion photoshoots at home. I posted a few pictures on Instagram, and I never thought it would be the beginning of an awesome collaboration with my fave brands. This year, I’ve re-discovered my love for style and started writing about fashion trends and outfit ideas.

- The Sweet Life: Life may not be that sweet because COVID-19 turned our world upside down. We had to change a lot of our plans and adjust to the “new normal.” My hubby and I managed to celebrate the special moments in our life and be grateful for all the little blessings.

Travel
- I’ve only written two travel posts this year. Last February, I wrote about some of the must-see places in the USA. I was planning to write more about our adventures, but the pandemic happened. When the lockdown was lifted in New York, I was so glad to finally join my friends on a road trip to Manchester, Vermont.

Soul
The philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche was right when he said, “That which does not kill us, makes us stronger.” It’s been a tough year for all of us. Against all odds, we mustered the courage to keep going. To change, evolve, and reinvent ourselves. To let go of the things that we can’t control and find new ways of doing things.

Let’s celebrate the end of 2020 and open our hearts to new beginnings. I remain hopeful for a brighter tomorrow for all of us. Stay strong and Stay safe.
Cheers to the New Year!!!

2020 was quite a year with so many lifestyle changes. Totally agree with you about having to change plans. Harder to do photoshoots at home and everything. In a year, the vision imagined, but hindsight became 2020. The year in, a Life, the Travel; a Soul journeying, so much the heart had to behold. A year, when the vision became, a 2020 review! Merry Christmas, and may 2021, bring abundant blessings!
Wow! A poem just for Life Travel Soul. Thank You Warren. May God continue to shower you and your family with blessings. Happy New Year!!!

Thanks Katie. Happy 2021!!!
This year definitely turned many of our travel plans upside down, didn’t it? I’m glad to see that you guys were able to find the little ways to celebrate while still following the restrictions that we’re all facing. It has been a bit of a struggle here, feeling cooped up at home, but at least we have a nice house, a back yard to hang out in and one another to spend this time with.
It’s a struggle indeed to stay positive these days. I really hope this pandemic will be over soon. Stay safe:)
I really enjoyed your post. Something that I miss the most about this year was not being able to travel as much. And I hope this pandemic will end soon so we can have our normal lives back.
A blogging accomplishment that I achieved this year was being more consistent. Since this year was slow because of the pandemic I had a lot of time to focus and work on my blog. And this really allowed my blog to flourish this year. I am grateful for that.

I know, right? Got to evolve and open our minds to new possibilities.

Thank you Dani. Happy 2021!
I love the positivity in this post – 2020 was quite the year but I do think, like you, there are things to be positive about and moments to celebrate. I know that’s not the case for many people but I’m grateful for what we still have – Happy New Year!
Yes… I’m so grateful too for what we still have. Thanks Lisa. Happy 2021!
Happy New Year! Glad you found some silver linings, but hope 2021 is better than 2020. 🙂
Happy New Year! I really hope too that 2021 will be better 🙂
Happy new year! I started my blog during the first lockdown in March and have learned so much! I still have tons to learn but it’s been an amazing creative outlet for me. I’ve also seen my writing improve a ton. I can’t wait to see what 2021 brings for the blog!
