Thinking about where to go this summer? How about a trip to Mystic?
My husband and I joined a bus tour from Albany, New York to visit this charming village in New London County, Connecticut. Here are the highlights of our trip…
Mystic Seaport
We had fun exploring the historic Mystic Seaport which is the nation’s largest maritime museum. The museum is home to the world’s oldest surviving merchant vessel — the Charles W. Morgan whaleship.
Olde Mistick Village
This lovely place was designed to represent an 18th-century New England village. We strolled around and found some unique shops and restaurants.
Mystic Aquarium
The Mystic Aquarium has various indoor and outdoor exhibits. My favorite ones are the Stellar Sea Lions and the Beluga Whales.
Please refer to the links below for more info on tickets, shops, restaurants, etc. Thank you so much for reading and have a great day ahead!

We are visiting New England in the fall ( we are from U.K. ) and are wondering if we can squeeze Mystic in.

That would be great 😊 My favorite amongst all three I mentioned is Mystic Seaport. If you ever get the chance to visit Mystic, pls don’t skip this – it’s the largest maritime museum in the US. You’ll love it!

Lovely post and it brought back so many memories. I don’t think it has changed and we went there over 15 years ago!
